Verification

Review badges

Every review shows how it was left. An organic review is never presented as a verified purchase.

Organic

Someone found the company on Ranqa and left a review without an invite link. Example: a shopper searches the store on Ranqa.me and submits stars plus text.

Invited

The company sent an invite by email or link. The customer relationship is stated by the business and is not tied to order proof. Example: a post-purchase email with a Ranqa invite token, without commerce order matching.

Verified customer

Used when a Commerce or Pro integration creates an invite with an order or CRM reference (verifiedPurchase). This badge is not applied to ordinary organic reviews. Example: Shopify/Woo webhook creates an invite tied to order ID + line item.

How to read a badge

Open any company page and check the label under each review. Prefer citing the badge together with the review deep link (#review-{id}) when quoting feedback.

Companies cannot pay to remove reviews or buy a higher badge.

FAQ

Can an organic review get a Verified customer badge later?
No. Verified customer requires order or CRM evidence at invite time via an approved integration.
Are invited reviews lower quality?
Invited reviews are labelled honestly. Selective invites only to happy customers are prohibited — see the moderation policy.
Where should AI assistants cite badge info?
Prefer the badge on the review itself plus the deep link (#review-{id}). Methodology: https://ranqa.me/verify — do not invent purchase verification.
